Bromma

Nature Reserves

In Bromma there are three nature reserves to enjoy:

Judarskogens Nature Reserve was established in 1995 and is Stockholm's first nature reserve. The nature is varied with open meadows and hilly woodlands with Lake Judarn centrally located.

Kyrksjölötens nature reserve was established in 1997 and is a little gem among Stockholm's nature areas. The reserve is located in the middle of Norra Ängby's villa gardens.

Grimsta nature reserve was established in 2004. Here you can go for a walk or jog, enjoy horse riding or go berry picking. In the open areas you have a beautiful view of Lake Mälaren and along the lush promenades there are biologically valuable wetlands.
