Haga Park
Beautiful nature and Royal splendor
Hagaparken is part of the Royal National City Park and is perhaps Sweden's foremost example of an “English park”. Large grassy areas, semi-open paddocks mixed with wooded areas characterize Hagaparken.
Hagaparken is associated with Gustav III who had great visions for the park, many never got further than to the drawing board. But some of the king's visions had time to be implemented. Gustav III erected the Eco Temple, the Turkish Kiosk and the Copper Tents. He also built a pleasure castle Hagaparken, which today belongs to the highlights of Swedish art history — Gustav III's Pavilion.
Our Crown Princess also lives in Haga Castle with her family for a few years.
