Nature reserves
Experience nature in Bromma
In Bromma there are three nature reserves to enjoy:
Judarskogens Nature Reserve was established in 1995 and is Stockholm's first nature reserve. The nature is varied with open meadow lands and hilly woodlands with Lake Judarn centrally located.
Kyrksjölöten Nature Reserve was formed in 1997 and is a small gem among Stockholm's natural areas. The reserve is located in the middle of Norra Ängby's villa gardens.
Grimsta Nature Reserve was formed in 2004. Here you can go for a walk or jog, ride or take a mushroom and berry picking tour. In open areas you have a beautiful view of Lake Mälaren and along the lush promenade there are biologically valuable wetlands.
